Smithtown Christian hosted over thirty pastors this week for a Pastors’ Banquet.
Fantastic food, great conversation and amazing performances by the students were all featured at this event.
On Tuesday, March 3, 35 different pastors met in Conference Room 1 and were treated to a luncheon prepared by the wonderful Mr. John Contes.
After the meal, the pastors were then treated a performance by the student missionary group, Undignified.
The group preformed two of their skits for the audience: “I Want to be Like Jesus” and “Forever” a representation of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
After the performance by Undignified, the pastors were also greeted to a performance by the second graders, first in a song about the fruits of the spirit and a small description read about each of them.
To close off the day, Dr. Lee, the Elementary School Principal, spoke about the school and how it can be improved with the help of local churches and a discussion about how these goals can be achieved.
This year’s Pastors’ Banquet was a huge success and everyone is looking forward to participating again next year.
