Then, Mr. Salvatore Greco presented a $1000 scholarship award to eighth grader, Guiseppe Crilly. The credentials a student must meet to obtain this scholarship were godly character, a passion for success, and a love for knowledge and Christ. A worthy candidate is selected by the school’s administration. This scholarship is designed to assist families, in Christian schools, pay tuition.

For their exceptional academic success, fourteen out of thirty students received the Presidential Award. Five students received high honors, and eight received an honors diploma.

The night drew to a close with a powerful message from Rev. Melanie Francis. She preached on “The Recipe for Success.” Rev. Francis declared that the key to success is to follow, practice, and study God’s word along with His commandments. We are to be strong, brave, obedient, loving, fearless, put our trust in the Lord and wait on Him. If we follow this “recipe,” we are guaranteed a successful, worry-free life.

It was a joyous celebration for the friends and families of these scholars. It was inspiring to all to witness the hard work and dedication of so many young people, and may they succeed as they begin a new, exciting chapter in their lives.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019
