finesthourgallery.jpgThe Finest Hours, a heart wrenching film, directed by Craig Gillespie, was yet another amazing movie produced by Walt Disney. This film based off of the true story about a T2 Tanker that had split in half and the four brave men that had saved the crew.

The movie starts with Bernie Webber, played by Chris Pine, a coast guard officer who falls in love with Miriam Grainger, played by Holliday Grainger, and how they want to get married. Then, after the T2 tanker splits in half, much fighting was occurring among the surviving crew on handling the situation. An unexpected leader arises; Ray Sybert, played by Casey Affleck, is the only guy that knows the ship inside and out and is disliked by many of the crew members. He has to lead the crew in order to stay alive in this difficult time.

During this, Bernie Webber was sent out by his commanding officer Daniel Cluff, played by Eric Bana, to go out and save the men form the split tanker. Only three other men had volunteered to help Bernie on his dangerous rescue mission to save these men. Bernie always had hope that he could make it and always had a can do attitude even if the odds were against him.

This film is suspenseful and will have you on the edge of your seat. So go and catch this flick and see the amazing true story about these courageous men’s valor and how they could beat the odds that stood against them.
